I've been living with this for a year now, but it's getting increasingly
annoying, and I don't know if anyone else uses this feature or cares.
What were you trying to do?
I make screendumps for inclusion in minicourse slides, advertisements,
docments etc. I put them into EZ docs as rasters, or print them
directly.
What's wrong:
Ever since we went to color and grayscale workstations, these screen
dumps have been STIPPLED with dots, even on pictures of all white or all
black areas. I can't really use pictures with this degraded quality in
my work.
What should have happened:
Screen dumps should look okay when printed, or inserted as EZ rasters and
printed.
