What were you trying to do?
I typed
emacs -fn -sony-fixed-medium-r-normal--16-120-100-100-c-80-iso8859-1 -geometry 80x38-480-230 -wn rmail@w20-575-34 -f rmail&
in order to read my mail in emacs. During RMAIL is typed:
Esc-X x-set-mouse-color
and as a color I entered:
ref
What's wrong:
Emacs gave the message:
cannot parse color "ref"
and then froze
What should have happened:
Clearly, emacs should not freeze when you type a non-valid color
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
When I type
which emacs
I get
/usr/athena/bin/emacs
(in case you need to know where the emacs version I used lives).
Moreover, the bugs is reproducible since I tried it at least 4 times and
a sipb consultant verified it.
