I am looking at your problem reports.
Forgive me, but I don't understand.
I have just run Willow on the RS/6000 across the hall. (It is set up the same way as the one you were using.) It worked just fine for me.
I wish I could have seen what you tried to do, and what response the machine made to those attempts.
When you say "no function in window", I assume that the willow window came up, but that anything you tried afterwards didn't work.
The only guess I have is that willow wasn't connected to a database.
When you first start it, you have to tell it which database to connect to before it will let you search. (It is inconvenient, that given there is only one database to choose from, that it doesn't just automatically choose that one, but that is one case the authors didn't think of.)
When you first start willow a database menu pops up.
You need to click on the item that begins "MIT MEDLINE".
Please tell me if that is what was wrong, or send me a more detailed description of what you did, and what inappropriate thing the computer did in response.
