What were you trying to do?
Compile something.
What's wrong:
ld: fatal: file /usr/athena/lib/libXaw.a: unknown type, unable to process usingelf(3E) libraries
What should have happened:
It should have worked. I used /usr/athena/bin/xmkmf. If I'm
supposed to use the stuff in /usr/openwin/bin, then /usr/athena/bin
shouldn't be there, or it should be symlinks, or something. There
shouldn't be be broken files in the release.
