I've seen this probelm. It happens, sometimes, when the Meta key is
hit or held down without anything else. The keyboard will then "eat
up" the next two keypresses. The keyboard shouldn't die totally. If
you just type, the keyboard will come back eventually, and then you
can correct your typing so your command is correct. Another option is
to never hit the Meta key while you are using XCodeCenter.
Hopefully a real Athena bugs person can help you out more...
