Here is a description of an X server bug on the RS/6000 with GTO
("hispd3d : 7235 POWER GTO") display. Please report it to IBM.
1: If I click CTRL-middle in an xterm full of text to get the xterm
menu, and a window gets mapped over the xterm while I'm holding the
button (zwgc likes to do this with my setup), when I release the
button the menu doesn't get erased. The window is gone, but the bits
don't get cleared. The xterm text gets mixed with the menu text.
I put a window dump of this effect in /mit/jfc/rs6000-xbug.xwd. I
will delete it in a week.
