Hello there.
As the file /mit/gmaes/README states:
This is the games locker. Bug reports about games in this locker
should be sent to bug-games@athena.mit.edu.
In this case, the problem stems from the resolution of the RS/6000 and
certain assumptions made by the authors of the program. I'll see what
I can do about it when I get a chance to look at it on the RS/6000.
The reason that you can't resize the window is that the code isn't
capable of handling certain cases that could arise.
