There has been a steady rise in mailbox lock problems over
the last week or two. At first I thought it was because Tom
was out of town but now my suspicion has been piqued by this
message:

This happened to me before on a simlilar workstation
(RS-6000)
I try to inc my mail and it does not,
all I get is
21:52 Incorporating new mail into inbox...
21:52
after about 6 muinutes waiting, still nothing happens
I try the inc command again using another xterm or xmh
I get:
inc: -ERR Maildrop for hell is busy. Please try again in a few moments.
I am logging out now (10:00) PM
and still no mail can be inc'ed
HELP!!!!
