This appears to be similar to another problem we had recently, involving
accelerators on Motif menus in xtechinfo. That problem went away very
recently (within the last 24 hours) when we upgraded the RS6000's from
7.4 to 7.5, which also replaced the X11R3 (!) server with an X11R5 server.
Could you try xdsc again and see if the problem recurrs? If not, it's
likely that the bug was in the old server and is gone now. Thanks,
