What were you trying to do?
Use the command "cview".
What's wrong:
Cview reports that all eight machines in m37-332 are free, even
though they're not; when you check them individually with finger @m37-332-1,
@m37-332-2, etc., you find that people are logged onto them. Cview
tells us however that:
VS-2000 VS-3100 RT/PC DS-3100 DS-5000 RS/6000 TOTALS
CLUSTER fre/tot fre/tot fre/tot fre/tot fre/tot fre/tot fre/tot
M37-332 - - - - - 8 / 8 8 / 8
What should have happened:
Duhhhh. It should have printed some lower total like 4/8 or something.
All I checked was that one machine was logged onto, that was enough of
a counterexample to prove that 8/8 was invalid.
