I am having a few problems with Emacs on the RISC/6000 and thought that
you might be able to shed some insight or the answer to the following
problems:
- "emacs -q" doesn't seem to initialize the mouse driver; C-x C-@
doesn't seem to be bound to the mouse function. The default scratch
buffer seems to be in Lisp Interaction mode, and the default mode for
other files seems to be Fundamental. Yet, with most people's .emacs
files, it seems to initialize itself properly.
- "emacs -name foo" seems to try to initialize two buffers: "-name" and
"foo" rather than altering the X attributes.
Can you help? This seems to be a problem with the 7.5 build, but even
the emacs binary in the 7.4 release seems to be afflicted with this
problem.
Thanks,
-Richard
