consult locker)
What were you trying to do?
Look at messages from the consultant connected to my *second*
question. My second question was asked as yandros[1]. (the first on
yandros[0])
What's wrong:
I was unable to do so. Even though I `was' yandros[1]
according to status, (a neat trick in and of itself, since olc has no
`instance' command. I did it with `status -i 1', which may not
*really* work. `Instance' should be added to the user commands )
`show' checked the for yandros[0], as did `show -i 0' and variants,
and `replay -i 0' and variants. I was unable to find any way to look
at any of the info Drae was trying to send me with olc. Eventually,
me needing to go to class and all, I punted olc, went into olcr, and
read the log, after `i -i 1'.
What should have happened:
The `show' and `repaly' commands, and possibly others, should
DTRT with the -i option. Also, as the average user (who, I realize, can't
ask more than one question *under our current setup*.) can't fire up
olcr, there should be a way for the user to switch instances.
