What were you trying to do?
Use Autocad. Well, I wasn't, but lots of other folks were.
What's wrong:
It randomly but repeatedly hangs/freezes while the rest of the
system keeps running normally. When this happens, the only to quit is
to kill the process and lose all your work. AutoDesk, the distributor
of AutoCAD says that this is caused by problems with the socket
implementation in Ultrix 4.2 and that upgrading to to 4.3 would solve
it.
What should have happened:
It should keep running.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I haven't been able to duplicate it myself (probably because I
don't know enough about AutoCAD, but I've been told that during a 2-3
hour session it occurs at least once.
