What were you trying to do?
Work. And see something on this monitor. I brought
up an emacs window in the font `lucidasanstypewriter-24' and
maximized it.
What's wrong:
When I brought up an xterm in the font fixed and
moved it around a bit, I got a lot of font corruption and
general confusion in both emacs and xterm. Emacs fixed
itself with a CTRL-L or when I did an xrefresh, but the
xterm's scrollbar was not improved by the xrefresh. It
still has a hole in the middle. I can repeat probably
repeat this and supply an X window dump if anyone is
interested.
What should have happened:
The X server should behave itself. Also, some X
font guru might want to look into the lucida fonts, as I
have seen them cause problems with X servers on several
platforms.
