What were you trying to do?

	  Work.  And see something on this monitor.  I brought
  up an emacs window in the font `lucidasanstypewriter-24' and
  maximized it.

What's wrong:

	  When I brought up an xterm in the font fixed and
  moved it around a bit, I got a lot of font corruption and
  general confusion in both emacs and xterm.  Emacs fixed
  itself with a CTRL-L or when I did an xrefresh, but the
  xterm's scrollbar was not improved by the xrefresh.  It
  still has a hole in the middle.  I can repeat probably
  repeat this and supply an X window dump if anyone is
  interested.

What should have happened:

	  The X server should behave itself.  Also, some X
  font guru might want to look into the lucida fonts, as I
  have seen them cause problems with X servers on several
  platforms.
