Vanishing tickets?

I think I've reported this before, but never heard if anything got done
about it or not. I just logged into MAXINE.MIT.EDU (Maxine in the
Watchmaker zone) and the login process completed normally. However, I
had no tickets (noticed when I couldn't run znol), even though I did
have AFS tokens for Athena cell which had expiration dates that would be
correct for their having been obtained at login time. Where did my
tickets vanish to? They had been there, or else from couldn't have run
and told me how many mail messages I had....
