System name: jimi
Type and version: KN01 7.4G (1 update(s) to same version)
Display type: PMAX-MFB

What were you trying to do?

Test mouse buttons by clicking in the root window to see
that the window manager menus came up fine.

What's wrong:

Rapidly clicking a mouse button that pops up a menu
makes noticable sparkles on a black background. If you
set the root window background to black (or white)
and rapidly click, you can see apparently random
white (or black) pixels flash on and off all over the
	screen.

This happens with both twm and mwm, with a normally
configured monochrome DS3100 & server. The sparkles
seem to occur pretty much anywhere, and are not
limited to any window. No residue is ever left behind.
It seems that random pixels are toggled even numbers
	of times.

What should have happened:

	No fireworks should occur.
