maple dumps core on patriot

The following two statements, if typed into maple on patriot, will cause
maple to dump core:

> eq1 := sqrt(1-sin(theta)^2/(1+a^2+2*a*cos(theta)))/(1+a^2+2*a*cos(theta));
> evalf(Int(subs(a=0.1,eq1),theta=0..Pi));
