I was working on thelonious, a DEC 5000/133, and was clicking away
many zgrams that had piled up; I finished and clicked the mouse in the
root window-- the screen went black and then reactivated with the
login window. No emacs autosave files were on /usr/tmp. There was a
core.root file in /usr/tmp, which I have copied to
/mit/coredumps/core.twm.decmips.caw.112592
This is the second time it happened; each time I was just clicking the
mouse in the root window. I am running twm with no fancy
customizations.
This is a BIG problem, as I am working on my thesis and autosave is
*not* working. Please let me know when you find out what is wrong.
