ezprint problem

According to the ezprint man page:
-n: The "-n" option lets you set a starting page number.
I assumed this meant that if I want to print pages 3 through to the
end of the doc, I type
ezprint -n3 -P printer foo.ez
I did this, and what happened is the whole file got printed, but the
first page was numbered 2, BUT: the 2 was very large, bold, and got
cut off at the top of the page. Is this a bug????
