Hi, following a discussion on -c geek -i owl, I think I can articulate
the feature(s) I'd like to humbly request:
1) User acessible list objects, such that:
-you could make a list of classes, and view a filter consisting of
those classes.
-you could add classes to the list or remove classes from the list
dynamically, and thus slightly alter the filter you're viewing.
For example, you're viewing everything, but there's a discussion
on -c sipb that you'd like to read later but not now, so you put
the pointer on a -c sipb zephyr, and press something like M-h, for
"hide", and, then -c sipb disappears from the current view, and
all other classes and instances remain.
2) Something about how to roll your own formatting for how
zephyrs are displayed in the owl window. The default looks like:
***********************************
-> class / instance / user (zsig)
message
***********************************
I'd like to see how this is specified, so that I could copy that
specification, and change it arbitrarily, to get things like:
***********************************
>class|instance|user
{zsig}
message
***********************************
or whatever (I'd have to play around to find whatever setting I liked
best, that one's just an example).
Thanks for an already-great client,
Ike
