Sure, but I tried to send this mail 10 days ago, long before
the discussion about pt_chmod starts ! Due to the recent bugtraq
ML problems, I had to send a mail to Kevin to get a solution for
posting my mail. Too late, but remember that my question about
pt_chmod was related to non SUID xterm usage under Solaris.

Hmmm... a really strange coincidence indeed !!!

What about the SunOS xterm's tty "vulnerability" ? 
Does Sun Microsystems provide a patch ?
