It is true. Even if it is not true u can make it with a short grounded wire
But If There is physical access AND a good knoeledge basis everything
can be done.
I have heard that HPs have a backdoor not for passwords but when actually booting. It may not be true.
I am feeling that with physical access and lot of time u can break root
