VLAD the Scanner, RAZOR's open source security scanner that checks the
SANS Top Ten, has been updated. There are now more than 160 cgi checks,
and several minor bugs have been fixed. And it is still the only open
source scanner that can brute force check multiple protocols for weak/no
passwords (telnet, ftp, smb, ssh, etc).
This is not a full-featured security scanner, but one aimed at the SANS
Top Ten list. For more info:
