Especially considering that most TDR boxen I've seen sort of screw the
cable while they're running - all those electromagnetic sonar pulses sort
of piss off anything trying to transmit at the time. ;)
If you're *really* concerned about sniffers on your Ethernet, just take
that little 50ohm terminator on the end off - the bits will leak out
before the sniffer can see them. Make sure you put the end of the
cable in a bucket so the bits dont get all over the floor...
