Am I mistaken in my belief that a router attached to a single Internet
connection
a) Does not require anything other than a static default route and
BGP/EGP advertisements of internal routes?
b) Should ignore all ICMP redirects addressed to it
c) Should drop all ICMP redirects in general, as there is only one
path out of the next and a downstream site should handle the "real"
routing
????
