Well, once again we're back to my original statement. If you've pulled
/dev/nit out (or hell, set the proper permissions on all the /dev/nit's in
the building and encased all of your network cable in solid steel or some
millitary-style pressurized-glass-tube nightmare, you still should make
sure that someone can't get root!

This is a stupid topic. If we're being this paranoid about the cables
themselves, start using Kerberos. Start Encrypting. Who gives a hoot about
the kernel and /dev/nit when the person has root on your system?
