Good advice Maciej.
I HOPE the bug reports we've been filing as a consequence of usability
testing have been in the useful form you describe.
At this point I don't know if there's anyone who can spare the time to
get more actively involved by writing guidelines, or by joining the
project team.
it looks like your usability people are competent, and if you listen to
them, will drive you in directions that are quite similar to the
direction our usability people drove us.
