Thanks for the new icon set, Tim. For some reason, they came through
at this end with a white background, but I did some creative Gimping
to make the background transparent again. Hopefully the result is
acceptable on the light grey panel. There was also a problem with the
logout button; the new one looked very lopsided when viewed against a
gray background, while the old one did not. So, I cut-and-pasted the
clean text from the new version onto the non-lobsided background from
the old one, and voila, it looks happy now. (Perhaps it could be
further optimized, but I'm perfectly content with the result.)
People can take a look at the icons themselves; the new set is
available in properly-sized PNG form in /mit/aui/icons/
(http://web.mit.edu/aui/icons/). I guess there's no reason not to
include these in the next release, since they are significantly
better-looking than the fuzzy ones we have now. Let me know if there
are any aesthetic difficulties which still need to be resolved.
