Accomplishments Past Period:
- Athena 9.0 beta release; AUI/Athena 9.0 testing and bug-fixing
continues, with greater exposure to the greater user community.
Goals for Next Period:
- Security assesment for AUI/Athena 9.0.
- Formal go/no-go decision to be made on 13 June. (See below.)
- Finish project documentation before we forget why we did everything.
- Formal end of project and handoff of maintenance to Athena release team?
Issues:
- Pressing release issues are keeping everyone very busy. Our current
goals are largely end-of-project carry-overs from last month, though;
although things are sliding, they are doing so neither inappropriately
nor unnoticed.
- The Athena release-team, facing a critical resource crunch, has decided
to hedge on the question of AUI as the default environment, with the
final decision to be made on 13 June. This decision is currently
expected to be "yes".
Team Dynamics:
- OK, modulo overload from staffing issues mentioned above.
