I've put together a map of beland's latest menus to make it easier to
review the tree, tooltips, callbacks, and URLs at one fell swoop:

   http://web.mit.edu/ajfox/projects/aui/menu-map.html

I'll add to that the list of changes suggested so far, but plan to leave
the menus as is for the Tuesday meeting.

Things to think about when looking at the map:

- should anything be added, moved, removed, or duplicated elsewhere?
- are there any callback issues aside from zathrun?
- order of submenus and items
- tooltip consistency, conventions for Supported apps

Other things we'd like to look at with the usability team have to do
with stuff like icons that may require looking at the actual menus :)

For aurora and boojum in particular:

  beland included URLs to a couple of pages he put together, which
  currently sit in the aui locker. These should either be moved
  somewhere like ~olh or ~is/athena where they can be reliably
  maintained, or we should decide where the general Help entries should
  point instead.  Currently:

    Help->Emergency Help
        http://web.mit.edu/aui/menu/emergency.html
    Help->Athena/Computer Help
        http://web.mit.edu/aui/menu/docs.html

  There are also some ACS FAQ pages he included which we may suggest
  that they're of general enough use to be promoted/migrated into
  something maintained by TPS; if you can both make it to Tuesday's
  meeting, we can talk about this then, otherwise let me know if you'd
  prefer mail or another meeting.

P.S. I copied the contents of ~aui/menu/tree over for 9.0; they should
appear on desktops beginning tomorrow, but for the most part icons won't
appear unless you have aui attached (will fix that once we've settled
some icon questions). For now, I've left the currently-live menus in
/afs/athena.mit.edu/system/config/panel/menus-8.4 for comparison.
