I just updated to the latest bleeding edge, and yay, the new menus are
working. 8)
I did notice two minor glitches at the top level. First, the .order
file from /mit/aui/menu/tree is missing from
/afs/athena.mit.edu/system/config/panel/menus-8.4/, which is causing
the top-level items to be listed alphabetically instead of in their
proper order. Second, I should have deleted the extra "Lock Screen"
and "Logout" entries, since they are inserted automagically by the
panel.
These are two-second fixes, but they are probably non-urgent enough to
wait until Abby gets back to be fixed. I've corrected the version at
/mit/aui/menu/tree, since that's what I have access to right now. I
guess I'll post further updates in the same place.
