Icon technical problems

I just ran into a couple of technical issues with the icons in
/afs/dev.mit.edu/user/amb/aui-icons/aui-icons.gif. They are:
* Three of the icons (netscape, prompt, emacs) are 49x48.
* The icons have a white background. The gnome panel
background is gray84 (#d6d6d6). Since the text in the icons
is anti-aliased against the white background, putting them
against the panel background results in the text not looking
very good.
