...since Greg has already started working on the 9.0 prototype, I'm
not going to put any more work into back-propagating defaults into the
now-obsolete getdot system. This means that if you want to get the
correct dotfiles (where "correct" varies according to taste) for some
reason, you should bug a developer personally. (I'd be happy to
help.)
I will be continuing to work on tidying up the menu tree, especially
with xalf integration and with usability testing results in hand. If
you want to update your menus, snarf
/mit/aui/evaluation/gtest/.gnome/apps into the appropriate location.
(This will be the updated copy until further notice.)
As for bugs, the AUI prototype is probably a good deal less stable
than what Greg is putting together so any applicable bug reports will
have to be re-tested against the 9.0 prototype when it's ready.
