What goes wrong if we leave that out? I vote for ripping that one out. Reasons for my vote: 1. It was one of the first things I disabled. 2. I had to ask someone how to do it because "depth=1" is NOT a clear description of "forces windows to be on top no matter what you do". 3. It is DIFFERENT from how zephyr windows behave under all other window managers. If it were more obvious how to undo it, and if it weren't so bloody annoying when it is there, I'd say it was harmless enough to try. As it is, I think it will just make users angry and add to questions for olc. -wdc
