I've finished 95% of the menu system now; it's installed in the gtest
account if you'd like to play with it. Please e-mail me if you notice
anything that's broken, or have any suggestions for making things
clearer or easier to use.
I still have to tidy up a thing or two on the Internet menu (under
TODO, just telnet and FTP stuff), and add an Emergency Help entry, but
other than that, everything should be there. (I'm going to poke
through Brad's old menu scheme one last time to make sure I haven't
missed anything.)
Perhaps tomorrow I'll fix up the gtest account properly for testing.
(It's been played with and is probably in need of a reset, though I
have a number of changes to propagate into the system and testing
defaults.)
Lastly, the icons in the menus appear to be working for the gu
account, but not for beland or gtest. I'm not sure why. I downloaded
some clue from Brad and did some purely casual futzing...hopefully,
I'll be able to fix that probablem after some concerted, well-rested
thought and investigation. If not, I'll bug people for help. 8)
