So, being somewhat in the dark myself, I asked Owls about how AUI is
supposed to handle documentation. They said something like this:
Each developer is responsible for keeping/generating notes on any
programs they create or modify. These notes should be readable by
other people, and on the level of detail of the Athena Release Notes
that Greg Hudson usually prepares.
Developers should approach Heather Harrison when their program
stabilizes. She (or other staff) will turn the notes into polished
end-user documentaion. Developers should be available for questions
and demos.
