Re: db1 is a mess, why don't we go with db2 or db3

db1 is a real mess though. All the ones that Gnome people are using
(ie, RPM and DEB packages) are built by hand as near as I can tell
(the wonders of binary distribution). Not only that, but it *just
doesn't build* on solaris. I would be happy to use it though, if you
can find a copy that autoconf's or something else reasonable.

At any rate, the krb5 db2 is now in cvs in the aui locker as
third/db2-krb5 with a modified Makefile.in to make it install. It will
be in the locker as soon as I finish making everything in cvs
consistent. (I want to nuke all the binaries in the locker at once,
and replaces them with ones that mirror those in cvs).

Do we want to set up a wash for aui? What is required to get in on the
athena wash?
