So, today I rebuilt the aui locker for linux and cleaned out
/arch/i386_linux22 before installing it.
I did the same thing last week for sun.
I also compared the generated non-architecture specific parts of the
linux and sun build and found them to be more or less the same.
So, GNOME 1.2, while not yet ready for prime time, is probably up to
the level of a smoke filled basement club on Washington St.

PS: I will be nuking the old/sketchy/non-working GNOME 1.0 install in
/arch/sgi tonight unless I hear from someone. It has been pissing me and
yak off and I don't think it actually works any more. If you care
about it, let me know.
