I disagree.  If it fails due to lameness, then so will any other
scheme.  The menus must be maintained by someone.  All this scheme does
is allow control to be distributed as we wish, instead of controlling
it all ourselves or giving up all control.  If no one else does, I will
personally deal with what I consider to be the most important
menu-lockers.
