Me neither. So I'll repeat the request in a different way.
A user might want to share a session between Athena and non-athena in
some clever way and have a set of configurations that work on both
systems.
Such a user should find that an unconfigured app works the same on
both Athena and their private non-Athena gnome desktop.
So if you want to change what a user sees from default Gnome, do it by
changing the user's files, and not by changing the system files.
