s-c-p throws this up when what it means is "Waaah, I haven't heard from
the printer in the past 5 seconds, and I've never heard of network print
servers before, so clearly something catastrophic happened". There has
to be a way to say "This is a network printer, it's not going to give you
toner status, and if the backend you just exec'd is still running, then
maybe you should say 'Processing job' instead, you moron"
