Hi,
Not sure if the testers mailing list is active at the moment...
The Mathematica GUI (add math; mathematica) appears to be broken in the
precise cluster alpha release- it prints an error dialog about
"low-level MathLink error: The linkname was missing or not in the proper
form".
I have a vague recollection that this came up a couple of years ago, and
was due to something we're doing in the chroot.
FWIW, it works fine on a plain-vanilla machine running precise with
OpenAFS, so I don't think it's inherently caused by something in
precise.
