Hi,
The install-debathena.sh script linked to on
http://debathena.mit.edu/install doesn't include oneiric in it's list of
supported Ubuntu releases. I was able to use the script, and it
installed without issue after adding 'oneiric' to line 244 (with the
other distros).
I'm not sure if you plan to fully enable this or not, but so far the
debathena "standard" install is working great on my Kubuntu 11.10 desktop.
