 So it does indeed look like FF 8 will give us this.  Yay.

 Can we give up on the extension and do everything in a wrapper script?  I
 think we can, modulo the "Athena On-Line Help" entry in the Help menu, but
 nobody uses menus anyway, anymore.  We can at least do `network.negotiate-
 auth.trusted-uris` and all the other prefs.  And can probably do something
 awesome with certutil.
