This week on Tuesday and Thursday, broder and price will be giving an IAP
class on Debian packaging (Tuesday) and the config-package-dev system for
making Debian configuration packages (Thursday), from 1:30-4PM in 8-119.
Debian packaging with config-package-dev is a highly in-demand skill for
several of SIPB's currently most active projects. Designed for Debathena,
it is used extensively to maintain XVM's servers. If you want to get
involved in Debathena / Athena 10, XVM, or scripts[1], you should strongly
consider coming to both sessions.
The classes will be very hands-on, so be sure to bring your laptop.

[1] while scripts currently uses Fedora, rumor has it that there are plans
to convert it to an Ubuntu setup using Debian configuration packages.
