Hi Mitch,

One awkwardness is that the TSM vendor (IBM) does not support
TSM on Ubuntu.  The IS&T page showing supported distributions
is essentially a recopying of IBM's "software requirements" list.
The supported linux distributions for TSM 5.5 are posted at:

It will be hard to get IS&T to officially support a software
confuguration that the vendor does not.

It might be possible to write "unsupported" documentation that
describes how to configure TSM on Ubuntu, if TSM does work.
