I too missed the later statement about Athena 9 remaining the
default, so I guess tweaking the first paragraph is called for. How
about adding "to early adopters".
I'd suggest a change of focus to more actively encourage the dash
holdouts to change. Something like:
Because support for dash is going away, you are encouraged to switch
to the current GNOME-based user interface. You can do this by
issuing the "Re-enable GNOME" command in the Dash sub-menu of Dash.
