It's actually a program, not a script, and it just wraps the X session.
Andrew or Bob should be able to look into /etc/X11/Xsession.d for
examples of how to add a session wrapper; it's pretty easy.

This involves learning how gdm themes work. tabbott is listed as the
author, but I recall hearing that someone else in SIPB did the work?
