They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

So one thing I'm still not clear on is how "branded" this is going to
be. I'm not overly concerned for the preview release, but with the
upcoming IS&T web redesign, I suspect the page will crop up on
someone's radar as something that needs a "graphic identity". I
briefly toyed with the idea of using the new templates (which are
green and grey instead of red and black/beige - they're actually quite
attractive, except that their version of the owl logo looks downright
evil), but I didn't put too much thought into it.

One larger question, however, is where the documentation will live and
who will maintain it?

For example, right now, a page on remote access (http://debathena.mit.edu/access-controls
) is maintained on the Debathena site. Should Athena 10 docs link to
this? Should it move to the Athena 10 site? I don't particularly
care where it ends up, but I very much feel there should be one
canonical source for documentation, because if there are multiple
sources, one will inevitably succumb to bitrot. I'll note that Hermes
will be ramping up over the next few months, and it will help blur the
line between "official" documentation and "community" documentation.

I would envision Athena 10/Debathena documentation living in Hermes,
in the IS&T space, with anything that applies to unsupported versions
living in the Community space. But perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself.

(For those of you who haven't yet heard of it, Hermes is a "Big
Initiative" that will replace itinfo.mit.edu, the OLC stock answers
(web/answers) and more. Oliver can elaborate :-)
