We finished building Debathena on Lenny today. In the process we modified
debathenify-bash and debathenify-tcsh (in
/mit/debathena/packages/third/{bash,tcsh}) to use
/mit/debathena/packages/third/common/debathenificator.sh (our generic
system for modifying upstream Debian packages), which cleaned up their
implementations substantially. I don't think this section has been
checked into the Athena10 repository, but figured I'd mention it's been
cleaned up.
We also had to change attach and quota to explicitly link against
/usr/lib/afs/libcom_err.a since the AFS development libraries in Lenny
(and presumably hardy as well) now have important AFS symbols in their
com_err (you've perhaps seen complaints about this issue on class sipb
zephyr). This is not a good long-term solution, but seems to work for
now.
